What comes with the purchase of a party room rental?

The price for the party room rental only applies to the room itself. There are no activities included in the price of a room rental.  That way, you are not forced into a minimum or maximum number of activities.

When do we tell our guests to arrive?

You and your guests are able to come to The Fun Zone at any time before your room rental time starts (most party parents plan for 1 hour prior to room time).

Can we get into the room a few minutes early to set up decorations?

The Fun Zone party room rentals have 30-minute gaps between them to allow our staff to clean in a timely manner. Depending on the amount of time it takes to clean the previous rental, you can get into your room 10-15 minutes prior to your start time to decorate.

What is provided with the room? Do we need to bring anything?

Party rooms come with paper plates, utensils, napkins, cups, tablecloths and basic decorations.

If you want to bring your own decorations for the party room you are more than welcome. We ask that you do not tape or tack anything into the walls as this causes damage.

Can we bring our own food?

With party room rentals you are able to bring your own food in (pizzas, cake, snacks, drinks, etc.). We do have a fridge and freezer to keep food fresh, but space is limited and storage cannot be guaranteed.

We also offer the ability to purchase pizzas and juice boxes through us for less hassle.

How do activities (Soft Play, Arena Games, Arcade) work with the party room rentals?

All activities for party room rentals receive a 25% off discount.

Soft Play: this is not booked in advance. You will pay upon arrival for the number of guests (children playing) that you expect.

Arena Games: you can book this in advance by adding Laser Tag/GellyBall to your cart with the room rental already in your cart before fully checking out. It is encouraged to book this prior to, or after, party room rental window.

Arcade: PlayCards are purchased on the day of. There are party discounts available.

Bundles: if you participate in 2 or more activities (Soft Play and Laser Tag for example) this will be discounted in addition to the base 25% off.

Do we have limited time at The Fun Zone during party room rentals?

The only time limit with your visit will be the room time. After your rental has ended, you must vacate the room to allow the next rental to take place.

You can come as early as you’d like and stay as long as you’d like within normal business hours.

Do we need to book in advance?

No, you do not need to book in advance. Simply show up when you are ready!

Soft Play admissions are all-day passes. Keep your wristband provided upon entry to leave and come back at a later time on the same date.

Do we need special socks?

No, any socks will do. The kids playing on the structure (and adults trailing behind) need socks inside the structure for cleanliness and to reduce wear-and-tear on structure fabrics. Those not venturing into the structure can leave shoes on.

Do adults need to pay to go in the structure with their kids?

No, only the kids are charged for soft play admissions. Adults do not need to pay extra to join in the fun or supervise.

Is there an age limit on Arena Games?

For Laser Tag, manufacturer recommends ages 5 and up due to being able to wear the vest. Ultimately it is up to each guest. For GellyBall, the consideration would be whether or not participants can tolerate the impact from the GellyBalls.

Do I need to book in advance?

You do not need to, but booking in advance is the only way to guarantee your desired time slot. Walk-ins are welcome, and if you wait for day-of, your desired time slot may be unavailable.

We cannot reserve time slots without payment.

How long are the games?

All game modes are 15 minutes of play time. We book in 30-minute time slots to allow time to explain rules, organize teams and equipment, and clean.

Does GellyBall hurt?

When GellyBalls make contact, they are described as feeling like the snap of a rubber band. They do not bruise and do not leave any mess on clothing. To avoid sting, plan on bringing sweaters/long sleeves to avoid direct skin contact with GellyBalls.

How do credits work?

Much like other arcades in Kingston, we utilize a card system. Play credits and tickets are loaded wirelessly on to your card.

Do cards/tickets/credits expire?

No, you can save cards with their balances for future visits. This is perfect if you want to save up tickets for that big prize that may take a few visits to win.

Can I split the credits between multiple cards?

You can only split credits between multiple cards for certain packages- the $99 and $169 packages. You can split them in up to 4 cards. All PlayCards below $99 can only have the credits on one card.

Can I add 2 or more cards together for credits and tickets?

Credits cannot be transferred to another PlayCard.

Tickets can be combined across multiple PlayCards.

Do you sell food?

We have a Snack Counter at The Fun Zone which offers basic snacks: chocolate bars, cans of pop, water bottles, cotton candy, etc.

Our newest addition to the Snack Counter is nachos and cheese available 7 days a week.

Additionally, we sell individual slices of pizza on weekends.

Can I bring my own food?

The Fun Zone has a ‘No Outside Food Policy’.
